      As far as I know Diwali doesn’t have some specific ritual of sweets- it’s just giving on time of happiness (it’s a bidah 🤣) but would it be halal?

      I do not know personally whether that Diwali sweet is linked to any polytheistic belief or not. But from the above reply it seems that it does have some kind of link. But its better to ask a Hindu friend of yours if by any chance Wink someone is offering you such sweets.

      I actually witnessed it being by even to someone- it wasn’t given to me. But it’s like if we give sweets on eid- it’s not a religious thing so I guess it should be fine to eat. Unless the celebration itself is a religious thing (which it is) so it would technically be linked
