Is It A Virtuous Deed To Kill A Lizard / Chameleon
Muslims in general believe that killing a Chameleon even of it is not harming us is a good thing. Is it so?

That’s a misconception. We are not supposed to harm any animal without a valid reason. Even when we kill an animal to obtain meat from it for consumption, the reason to pronounce God’s name upon it (tasmiya) is so that we’re reminded that we’re doing it with God’s permission.
