Member December 12, 2020 at 2:08 pm1. Understand the deep meanings of repetitive words like muttaqee, imaan, yakeen, ilah, rabb etc. Difference between repetitive words which appear similar. This helps a lot.
2. Use 1-2 simple translation. (Many available online)
3. One commentary by Amin Ahsan Islahi. Commentary will be very bulky. So, read the commentary only where required. I.e where you feel something to know more or you yet to understand.
This helps in connecting with the spirit of Quran.

Member December 12, 2020 at 2:21 pmIndeed, Quran is for entire mankind (Quran 81:27). The term muslim or musalmaan (both appears in Quran) doesn’t refer to people of any race. Even the son of a prophet may not be a Muslim. Ex Noah. And son of the enemy of Islam can be a Muslim.
Yes, it’s for entire mankind. But only those who seek guidance (who doesn’t want to get corrupted from heart & mind) are its primary addressees.

Member December 13, 2020 at 7:22 amThis might help too. Here is a site where Quran translation is organized by topic. It is available in Urdu, English and Readable formats. Since a topic may be spread out in various places in Quran, reading Quran by topic helps understand a topic much better.
