  I am on around lecture 17 nowadays. Is there a specific ayah that refers to this concept or is it something else? I wonder if you saw the meet-up yesterday so that’s why I’m asking this

(۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰۤ ءَادَمَ وَنُوحࣰا وَءَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمَ وَءَالَ عِمۡرَ ٰ⁠نَ عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ)

[Surah Aal-E-Imran 33]

I don’t think you could say that this implies that ONLY Ibrahim عليه السلام‘s progeny was chosen for prophethood after the sequence of single prophethood was ended. Simply that his progeny had quite a few prophets could be induced from this ayah. What is the proof that it was made wholly specific to ibrahim عليه السلام?
