Why would 9:14 mean punishment when it comes with (يعذبهم الله بايديكم) when the makkans simply gave makkah over? How is that a punishment

The two discussions linked only show that wars against oppression were conducted. Where is the irrefutable evidence in light of the image I shared above, that there was any punishment given in accordance to itmam e hujjah?

I think it is because of the law of itmam-e-hujjat. The people of the previous prophets, who rejected them were punished by natural disasters by Allah SWT. And the whole nations were destroyed under those Adhab illahi.
Qitaal fi Sabeel Allah (somehow called Jihaad now) was under the same law. It was the order of Allah.
Our beloved Prophet MPH mostly fight defensively. Prophet’s defensive battles, like Badr, Uhud, Ahzab and Hunayn, were where the enemy launched an offensive against the Muslims. While battles like Khaybar, Mu‘tah or Tabuk, where the Muslim state was aware of the enemy’s plans of aggression, resulted in a need to strike pre-emptively as a form of defense.
It is also because of Rehmah that not the whole nation was destroyed even after the conquest of Makkah.

No. The sunnah is jaza and Saza. This Sunnah never changes. The sunnah itself is that rahma is not shown because it is not appropriate when there is this level of rebellion

I think for the previous Prophets they ask for adhab illahi. But Prophet Muhammad MPBH even after he had the oppertunity, ask for the forgiveness from Allah and pardoned everyone.

The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has no power to pardon anyone. It is the sunnah of God to punish and reward. How do you know no other prophet asked for punishment?
