God Creates People He Knows Will Go To Hell
How do religious people reconcile their belief that God is both posited to be all-knowing and loving with the fact that he must then also create human beings that he knows through his omniscience will suffer in hell for eternity?
How can God be loving and benevolent if he creates human souls knowing that they’re destined to meet a fate of absolute agony for all of time?

I think that rather than asking why God created people who might dwell in hell, a more apt question would be why did God create people at all? Especially when he had already created angels who do not disobey him.
Any answer that we come up with to such questions, or any question for that matter, must be based on one or more of the four sources of knowledge that we have: a) empirical evidence, b) intellect, c) established history, and finally d) scripture. Unfortunately, none of these source have clear answers to either one of these questions.
We do, however, know that our life does not end on death. Furthermore, we know that the life of this world is created on the principle of test, and that those of us who do well in this test will be granted a life of eternal joy and comfort beyond our wildest imagination. Finally we know that some of us will not be able to make it to the promised life of joy and comfort, but that result will purely be based on our own free will.
Despite the fact that our sources of knowledge do not allow us to know everything that there is to know at this time, we do have enough information in order to make sound decisions to move forward. This no different than any other long term planning we do in our lives, for example, in terms of our education, career, family, etc. With that in mind, it would be wise if we defer such questions to a time when we will meet our Creator on the day of judgement. At that time, I am certain that He will share more details with us and won’t leave any of our questions unanswered. In the meanwhile our undivided focus should be on how we can do well in this test so that we don’t miss out on a fascinating life that awaits us!
