وَمَا كَانَ صَلَاتُهُمۡ عِندَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ إِلَّا مُكَآءً وَتَصۡدِيَةًۚ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ
Here the Quran says that tawaaf was nothing but whistling and clapping. What happened to its tawatur?

I am going to take a wild uneducated guess here. Let’s see what scholars say.
-The Tawatur only started after prophet Muhammad, as a last prophet, because now humans were in enough numbers and communication and preservation of information started at global level. Modern history started after prophet Muhammad.
