    Is this an ikhtiyaar? If the idea of amal ahl madinah was truly implemented in this issue of one tasleem to the right – then is it simply an issue of preference?

    Salam is just a way to end the salat, so yes it’s a matter of preference.

      What is the evidence for this? Why isn’t it that the salah is just one way? Surely that seems more likely because the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said pray how you see me pray
