  • Punishment Of Disbelief After Itmam E Hujjah

If the the real reason for the punishment was disbelief then why weren’t the hypocrites who also disbelieved punished?

When there is a prophet sent down, is it an actual crime that causes the punishment or just the mere disbelief? Because the mushrikeen were told to be fought after they had broken the treaty. The people of lot عليه السلام were after they tried to assault the angels.

    At-Taubah – 9:4

What happens after the end of the term? The surah doesn’t say: ‘then kill them’

Because the end of the term could simply be until the break the treaty. It doesn’t have to be that the treaty had a time limit

    At-Taubah – 9:6

Also this ayah doesn’t say what to do after they have been delivered to safety. It should be that they be kept safe. Who says that they should be killed if they don’t accept Islam. If they are ‘men who do not know’ them how has itmam e hujjat truly been fulfilled?

    At-Taubah – 9:7

This ayah says to stay upright to those who are upright to you. It doesn’t say to punish them for disbelief
