    Salam,

Buhat shukrya … first time i found some forum jahan main apnay doubts discuss kar raha hoon aur rehnumai lay raha hoon. Mein aksar jab qissa adam iblees parhta hoon tu aik sawal zehan main ata hai… kay shaitan kay samnay tu parda ghaib nahin tha lakin usnay phir bhi jurrat ki inkar ki .. lakin hum insanoon kay imtehan main tu Parda ghaib bhi shamil hai, zindagi guzarnay ki mushkalat hai, ibadat ki mushaqat hai aur phir iblees bhi humaray peechay laga hai jo kay humaray zehan main aur humari sooch main whisper kar sakta hai yani kay hum say ziada taqatwar hai …

aur phir main kai dafa aisi ahadith sunta hoon (Not quoting exact words)….jaisa kay insaan baaz auqat aisi baat kar jata hai jis ka usko khial nahin hota aur wo janat kay ander pohanch jata hai aur baaz auqaat wo aisi baat kar jata hai jis ki waja say jahanm main pohanch jata hai …. aur phir kahin irshaad hota hai kay … Aksariat insannon ki jahanm kay lieye paida hui hai tu kabhi mujhay yai khial ata hai kay shaid yai imtehan kuch ziada hi sakht nahin hai .. barhai karam mere rehnumai farma dijeye ?

    Sahih Bukhari – 3038

Narrated Abu Burda: That his father said, The Prophet sent Mu`adh and Abu Musa to Yemen telling them. ‘Treat the people with ease and don’t be hard on them; give them glad tidings and don’t fill them with aversion; and love each other, and don’t differ.

    Lets decompose the questions first

    1. Why did iblis disobeyed despite having seen God and no influence of a devil.

    2. Humans have not seen God and on top of that have to deal with the devil — is it a perfect recipe to fail humans?

    3. Based on some ahadiths (any reference?), just by discussing something a man can go to the heaven or hell.

    Have I missed anything?

Hope the breakdown will help answer the questions properly.

First of all, seeing something or not seeing it should have no bearing on our behavior towards the truth. Satan’s knowledge of God was through direct experience, while ours is primarily through inference. However, former is in no way better than the latter. We don’t see gravity, but through inference we know that it exists. Similarly, we don’t see intellect, but we all know that we have it. In contrast, we may see water in a desert, but it might turn out to be just a mirage. We see the stars above every night, many of which don’t even exist anymore. In conclusion seeing something is not any better or worse than not seeing it. In fact I would argue that after seeing God our test would have been orders of magnitude more difficult.

Secondly, Satan has no power over us except to possibly tempt us and divert our attention from the truth. Until we ourselves allow Satan to influence us, he has no affect on our beliefs or actions. In addition to Satan, there are several other factors that motivate us to sin which are discussed in the video shared by Yaseen sahab above. It is these motivating factors that we should be more mindful about because they’re inherent in our nature. Satan might exploit these from time to time, however, even if there was no Satan, our test would still be largely the same in magnitude.

For the last part of your question, I won’t comment on any narrations without proper references.

1: Iblis disobeying God in the absence of a conspirator!

There is a faculty in an able being, that of personality. This faculty can be as base as an animal or as high as an angel. The Ego is the one that will choose the way to live. When it chooses to serve God, it becomes humble, kind, and non-self-centred, but when it serves “the self,” it becomes arrogant, proud, and selfish. One does not need a conspirator to be misled; rather, selfish self-preservation will do it. We see it in the arrogant, racist, tyrant, persecutor. The driving force is the idea within the being itself. Azazel was a being with a self-inflated ego. That pride would lead an Ego to self-destruction even in the presence of the truth if it were staring right in the face.

2: The Ego of the human is not dissimilar to that of the thinking Jīn. Every conscious being has this inherent ability to differentiate right and wrong, lies or truth, death or life, etc. Again, the same faculty will do what it does. The conspirator, Id and the helper, superego, will always operate, respectively, to dissuade or encourage from doing what is right. This choice is within the moral compass of the beholder. What good is a test when it leans towards the answer? When has climbing a mountain an easy feat, winning a gold medal in the Olympics an easy ordeal? When has ever in the history of humanity, a prize been given for an easy ordeal? The difficulty is not that it is difficult to resist the devil, rather, how we deal with our own selfishness and resist the temptations of the devil and hearken to the encouragement of the angels. There is no disadvantage but only the deception of the devil to doubt the wisdom of the Lord.

3: The discussion of anything is not the problem. The problem is the motive behind the question, the philosophy, the principle lurking behind the question. The principle of learning and an honest enquiry will lead to a certain way of life and the principle of vengeful deceit covered up as a rightful question will lead to another way of life. The honest will find the answer for himself and lead a rightful life, the dishonest will eventually reveal himself and lead a life of rebellion. Have we not seen the atheist ask a question with a smirk on the face and deceit in his heart versus an honest learner who cannot understand the concept of life and death and asks God to show with an example?

All the questions were answered in the various videos shared. These and many more questions have been answered by scholars of all faiths from hundreds of years ago. They have been answered by philosophers and religious scholars alike. All it takes is going through the questions one by one and the first and the foremost question that deserves an answer is the existence of God and the rest follows. The faltering down the lane is usually due to an unsatisfying answer to the Prime question.

    Stay blessed, always.
