If one buys a subscription to a digital learning course and the course did not state in its terms and agreements that the videos cannot be shared online would sharing them be considered theft?
I’m asking as a legal matter. Would it be considered theft or something else?

If there was no such agreement then legally it might be okay, depending upon whether or not there’s an overarching law that protects the seller by default. You will have to check with a Cyberlaw expert because it might involve determining the jurisdiction. However, morally it’s won’t be correct to share the fruits of someone else’s labor for free unless they themselves want it that way.

Yes I have the moral question basically. Would it morally be considered theft? Eg if someone does this consistently would his hand be cut off?

Your original question stated legally. Then above you stated morally but also ask whether or not the crime is punishable, which is a legal matter. Which one?
