Other Scholars From Madarassa E Farahi
Aoa, i have been following sir javed ahmed ghamdhi from quite a while now, as he associate himself and his teacher Imam ameen ahsan islahi to the religious thought of hamidudin frahi , i want to know if there are any other scholars from madarassa e farahi apart from these two in the previous century? (i m not looking for scholars from present age or disciples of ghamdhi sahb)

There’s no formal madrasa e Farahi, even though this term is used often – sometimes even by Ghamidi sahab himself in order to refer to the Farahi approach of understanding things. Many scholars with traditional understanding of Islam still revere and many times even refer to Farahi sahab and his works. Among popular non-Al-Mawrid scholars inspired by or influenced by the Farahi approach at varying levels in different aspects include Maulana Akram Nadawi, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Maulana Abul A’la Maududi, Dr. Israr Ahmed, and Nouman Ali Khan.
