Can Inflation Be Equal To State Taxes And An Offset To Mandatory Zakat Amount?
May I suggest that if Ghamidi Sahib has not given a thought into Inflation as equivalent to state tax and an offset to Zakat, he might want to consider looking into it. If he reaches a similar conclusion, it may help many people reduce their mandatory portion of Zakat.
If he has already given it a thought and reached a conclusion, I can’t find it. Please share.

Inflation is caused by the financial system that we as humans have adopted. Zakat is an act of worship, and regardless of whatever financial system we adopt, we still have to adhere to it in letter and spirit.
