The Free Will Of Jinn
Assalam Alaikum, everyone and to Ustadh Ghamidi Sahab himself, if he is to reply to this message personally.
My question, is alas quite an odd one. But please do bear with me. Allah (the exalted), has given humanity and in specific humans themselves the quality of free will, to choose between right or wrong. For that we were given the title “Ashraf al Makhlooqat”, which too is debated upon. But is it not true, that jinn or rather Satan (Iblees) himself in an act of great disbelief and pitiful rebellion, disobeyed, the express command of God i.e. To bow down to Hazrat Adam (Alahisalam)? Please clarify this matter, as does this not indicate that jinn themselves possess free will?

According to Mufti Abu Layth, the Iblis incident was metaphorical about good and evil, rather than something which actually happened.

Quran O sunnah are empty of words humans being ashraf ul makhlooqat. We should drop this notion.I am unable to understand your question completely. Jinn do possess free will even angels do have free will. About Ghamidi sb understanding of Qisaa aadamo iblees. You can refer to following audio hope it helps
