This concept of keeping your kids indoors at Maghrib is extracted from a hadith. It’s not in the Quran though.

Any idea if this hadith is explained by ghamidi sahab or any known scholar in detail?

Just because it is in Hadith, doesn’t necessarily makes it a religious injunction. This hadith also falls within elderly advice by the Prophet (sws) in his capacity as an elder of the society and not in His capacity as a Prophet. Following points must be kept in mind while approaching hadith corpus.
