The Use Of The Word "Innama" For Halal And Haram
Ghamidi sab say that from Surah A’raf Ayah 33, only 5 things are Haram as the word “Innamaa” is used. In Surah Baqrah Ayah 175, and Surah Nahal Ayah 115, similar wording is used for the things that are Haram from the eatables. However Ghamidi sab say that in eatables, only Tayyabat are Halal and Khaba’is are Haram which is mentioned in Surah A’raf.
So Allah has used “Innamaa” to describe the Haram things from eatables whereas other things that fall in the definition of Khaba’is are also Haram (for example alcohol is not included in these 4 things). So in a similar way, it seems like the use of word Innamaa doesn’t necessarily mean that any other thing outside these 5 categories can’t be Haram. Kindly explain.

Ghamidi sab said in response that for eatables, it is being said in the context that Tayyabat are Halal and Khaba’is are Haram and these 4 things may have not been clear, so Allah explained them. So how can one know the context? Or is it like Surah Airaf Ayah 33 was revealed before the above mentioned Ayahs so that is the reason for using Innama?
