يُوسُفُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِى لِذَنۢبِكِۖ إِنَّكِ كُنتِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَاطِـِٔينَ
Yusuf – 12:52

ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعۡلَمَ أَنِّى لَمۡ أَخُنۡهُ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِى كَيۡدَ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ
In 12:29 the azeez already knows that his wife didn’t actually do anything- so how does the confession in 12:52 make sense that zuleikha is confessing so that azeez knows she didn’t do anything?

Sorry I read wrong. Why did Joseph say this is so his master knows when his master already knew he didn’t do anything in the shirt tearing scene?
