Precedence Of Sunnah Over Quran
In Mezan (URDU) page 47 it is mentioned Sunnah has precedence over Quran. Are there any known instances when Quran is in conflict with the established Sunnah ?
Even if there is any conflict is it on the matter of understanding and that is why Sunnah take precedence ?

The word used by Ghamidi Sahab is ‘Muqaddam‘ i.e. Sunnah of Prophet Abraham (sws) was in practice even before revelation of Quran, this doesn’t establish precedence of Sunnah over Quran. However, it implies that Sunnah will be extracted from ‘ijma’ and ‘amali tawatur’ of Muslims. Quran doesn’t comment on entire Sunnah, it does however comment on certain matters related to Sunnah that were already initiated by the Prophet (sws). Wherever Quran has commented on such matters, Quran always takes precedence on such matters related to Sunnah.
