Giving Qurbani Money For Welfare Of Poor Instead
So I recently got to know that qurbani on Eid Al adha is not farz and is Sunnah mustahab. So without any confusion my question is that is someone has the money to sacrifice an animal but instead he chooses to spend on the welfare of the poor. So he will still get rewarded right? I understand that qurbani is an expression of love for Allah and that if Allah needs we can sacrifice our lives as well , but still people often choose not to sacrifice even if they have money but get criticized. So is it ok not to sacrifice and spend on other things I mean will we still get rewarded right?

https://www.facebook.com/javedahmadghamidi/videos/964831836894101/Its very difficult to say How Allah will reward in this case. We can be only optimistic. However, I agree with Ghamidi sb that if a person can sacrifice then he should sacrifice animal for Allah and distribute it as charity.
