Explanation Of A Hadith Regarding Planting A Tree
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Even if the Resurrection were established upon one of you while he has in his hand a sapling, let him plant it.”

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Arna’ut
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ قَامَتْ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ الْقِيَامَةُ وَفِي يَدِهِ فَسْلَةٌ فَلْيَغْرِسْهَا

it’s a beautiful hadith… but here exactly what he ﷺ said :-
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: إِنْ قَامَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَفِي يَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَسِيلَةٌ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ لاَ تَقُومَ حَتَّى يَغْرِسَهَا فَلْيَغْرِسْهَا.
Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “If the Final Hour comes while you have a shoot of a plant in your hands and it is in your power to plant it before the Hour comes, you should plant it.”
– Al-Adab Al-Mufrad : Book 1, Hadith 479
It is a truth..
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ
Every nafs will taste death,

read this..
أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ
مَتَى تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ قَالَ فَسَكَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هُنَيْهَةً ثُمَّ نَظَرَ إِلَى غُلاَمٍ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنْ أَزْدِ شَنُوءَةَ فَقَالَ “ إِنْ عُمِّرَ هَذَا لَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ الْهَرَمُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ ”
a person asked Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ):
When would the Last Hour come? Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (way peace be upon him) kept quiet for a while. Then looked at a young boy in his presence belonging to the tribe of Azd Shanu’a and he said: If this boy lives he would not grow very old till the Last Hour would come to you.
do you feel fear because of kids growing up? do you take heed of it?
That people get old and kids become young. Indeed Death is Hour.
do you see any person taking the retirement and opting for hedonistic approach & saying that “I’m done. i did all things and now the time to enjoy”
but do he really understand that death & life is only a test to know best of deeds(67:2)
