It’s confusing that it is considered that Hadeeth is not source of deen by Fikre Farahi and Gahmidi on the other hand also quoting hadeeth for justification of their stance.

When hadeeth is not source of deen and they don’t add anything in deen then why are you so much cautious about hadeeth. In series of 23 ‘ietrazaat’ every time hadeeth is discussed to support the stance.

I also think in hadeeth, there is history of that times, but with little effort we can also extract sunnah as well by filtering out rawayat.

Sunnah is transferred through amli tawatar that same amli tawatar is written in books of Hadeeth.

When source of sunnah is book of fiqah then why Ghamidi sb not discuss that books for justifying Himself.

Brother Talha. There is a clear difference between Hadith and Sunnah. It is true that both may be combined in a single book but they are two different things.

This is how I understand the differences…

The source of Sunnah is Ijma and Tawatur, which the following video will shed some light upon. Also you can read the book Meezan as well as listen to the accompanying lectures available on Youtube. In those lectures Ghamidi sahab has explained his understanding of Sunnah and Hadith in a lot of detail. He also explains parts of it from time to time in various other videos.

As a side note, please keep your questions objective. You can agree or disagree with any concept, however, on Ask Ghamidi we strictly disallow disparaging personalities. In that regard, it might be a good time to review the Ask Ghamidi Code of Conduct:

Hadith is neither the topic nor the focus of Response to 23 Questions series. Ghamidi sahab is not presenting hadith narrations as the basis of his arguments. They’re discussed for various reasons, e.g. in order to remove certain misconceptions, to show how hadith narrations should be understood in the light of the principles established by the Quran, and to share how Prophet Muhammad SAW applied certain principles in certain situations.
