ایک حدیث میں یہ بات رسول اللہ سے منقول ہے۔ جمعہ کی نماز کا اہمتام جب حکمران کی طرف سے کیا جائے تو اس میں شرکت کرنا لازم ہوتا ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے دور میں نہ صرف یہ کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی طرف سے بطور حکمران اس کا اہتمام تھا، بلکہ اللہ کے رسول کی موجودگی میں جمعہ کی نماز میں غیر حاضری کفر اور نفاق کی علامت تھا۔ بلکہ عام نمازوں میں بھی جو شرکت نہیں کرتے تھے وہ منافق سمجھے جاتے تھے۔ اس تناظر میں رسول اللہ کا یہ ارشاد قابل فہم ہے کہ تین جمعہ تک بغیر کسی عذر کے مسجد میں حاضر نہ ہو وہ اپنے کفر اور منافقت کا ثبوت فراہم کر دیتا تھا۔

English Translation:
This is narrated in a hadith from the Messenger of Allah. When Friday prayer is arranged under supervision of the ruler, it is obligatory to attend it. In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), not only was it arranged by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a ruler, but absence from the Friday prayers in the presence of the Messenger of Allah was considered a sign of disbelief (‘kufar‘) and hypocrisy (‘Naffaq‘). Even those who did not attend the regular prayers were considered hypocrites. In this context, it is understandable that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that one who does not attend three consecutive Jumma congregations without any excuse, this should be enough proof for his disbelief (‘kufar‘) and hypocrisy (‘Naffaq‘).

If one misses 3 consecutive jummahs.does he have to renew his shahada?

On Fridays, it has been made incumbent upon Muslims to pray in congregation at the time of zuhr prayer and in place of it. As soon as the Adhan is said, it is incumbent upon all Muslim men to leave all their involvements and come to the mosque if they have no legitimate excuse. This is subject to fulfilment of conditions for conducting Juma Salah.
