According to law of qanoon itmam hujjat if rasool has enough power then punishment is given with the sword of believers.

1:my question is that in case of Jesus a.s why punishment given by polytheist (Titus roman emperor).

2:roman empire did accept Christianity but way after attack of (Titus roman emperor) in (79 to 81) in reign of Emperor Constantine (ca A.D. 280– 337) roman empire accepted Christianity.

it does raise questions on law of itmam hujjat .anyone please guide?

God can punish the ones who deserved through nature: Cyclone, Flood, Earthquake, or by angels, or by human beings. The children of Israel were punished at first by the kind of Babel and then by the Romans. It is not necessary that the punishers must be Muslims or followers of a prophet. What Ghamidi sahib said is that when followers of a Rasool are good enough in numbers, God uses them too to punish the disbelievers.
