What Comprises Good Deeds ( Naik Amal )
Upon reading the Quran Translation I’ve concluded that the key to Heaven lies in the arrangement of Salah, Offering of Zakat and performing “Good Deeds”. I was curious as to what these good deeds mostly comprises of? Is Prayer, Hajj and other obligatory worship act also considered as good deeds or it is apart from it since Salah and Zakat has been mentioned separately? Are these good deeds basically moral ethics?

All the Good deeds stem from a moral basis, of which, ‘Worshipping God‘ is one. It also has a moral basis to begin with, but the way to worship God through Salah, Zakat, Hajj, Fasting etc. has been told by God Himself. And whenever a divine guidance related to moral deeds is introduced, it becomes Sharia.
The reason Salah and Zakat have been mentioned separately with good deeds have to do with their importance. Salah being an Ibadah solely related with God and Zakat although being an Ibadah, is also necessary for smooth running of an Islamic society.
