Muslim parents need to accept this fact that it was their children’s right to adopt whichever religion they find appealing. What they can do is to answer any doubts their children have about Islam to the best of their knowledge, and in case they can’t, they can introduce them to good scholars of Islam who can answer those questions. But at the end of the day, it is the scheme of God where no compulsion has been imposed regarding religion and people are free to choose whatever theological course of action they want to pursue. However, this doesn’t absolve parents of their moral duties thoward their children. They still need to treat them as their children, with the same affection and same care.
Please refer to the following advice to the youth from Ghamidi Sahab from 3:02 to 8:39
