Is it established in Islam that everyone has a predetermined time of death, I.e., at the time we are born (or even before that) date & time is “written”?

Incidents of the world are either ordained by God and are the natural outcome of the system He created. Both types of incidents are in His knowledge. In this is sense, everything is written, but certain things are not his direct ordinance. Same goes for death. God may order someone to be dead, and for others their death is a natural outcome of the natural and normal system of cause and effect.
