  Kafan For Women

  Aoa! I read somewhere today that when a woman dies she has 2 extra pieces of kafan compared to men to cover her more because woh aurat hai apparently usse marne ke baad bhi cover kiya jaye. I want to know what Islam says on this. Is there any Hadith or Verse to support this claim or is it just culture ? Please answer.

  To shroud the corpse is Sunnah, but there is no specification on number of garments. It is something cultural.
