I’ve read this in many books that Happiness is a state of mind like one can be happy in a cell or prison someone can be sad in mansion too.

What does Islam say about happiness and how do we get it ?

    Like there are two things.

Some people say to find happiness in only materialistic things and some say to only look inside of us for happiness i.e. spiritualism.

So I want to know how can we be Happy and satisfied while being active in this test of world.

This question does not relate to Deen, psychology addresses it.

It is about satisfaction of mind for its believe in God and the hereafter, which satisfies one’s curiosity of the existence. Happiness is something else. meaning and reasons for happiness is different from person to person. This is not the domain of religion which addresses ethics.
