We hear from Javed Ghamidi Sb that once a a citizen is caught by the state authorities for commiting formication or adultery, he shall he punished according to the severity of the crime and that he shall not have the right to marry a pure women, same goes vice versa. My question is that, in current times the state doesn’t really title “Adultery” a crime. We know numerous politicians and celebrities living in muslim countries like Pakistan where their leaked videos or audios show them committing the act. Shouldn’t it behove the state to use these videos as an evidence? Instead we see the state taking actions against those who leaked it.

Adultery is a crime in Pakistan under the Hudood Ordinance of 1979 with a maximum penalty of death.

If someone wants to report any crime they should follow the proper procedure. Invasion of people’s private lives especially when followed by defamation through social media is a serious crime and grave sin within itself.
