Withholding The Truth In The Face Of Opposition Of Family And Friends
Asalamualaikum,
Many who agree and accept Ghamidi sahab’s understanding and interpretation of Islam may have faced this situation in their life’s when they had to not express their opinions in open. For example, misunderstanding among majority of muslims regarding Sunnah, if those views are expressed openly then all we face is strong opposition and our words look alien to them. I myself have issues in my friend circle to openly talk about what Islam is about as all of them hold views which are polar opposite, like regarding Sunnah. In fear of losing my friends or their trust, i stay away from topics where we may differ. So my question is what I am doing, withholding the truth about Islam from people I know, is it the right approach or what’s the best approach.
