Quran 2:286 – Allah Doesn't Burden A Person Beyond His Tolerance Level
In Quran it states the above. My question is what does it means as tolerance level. It seems like the breaking point of someone’s tolerance will be to commit suicide or stop believing or relying on Allah.

Thank you for the reply. So does this mean this verse is related to the laws, rules, regulations and responsibilities Allah has put on humans; not related to how severe of a test Allah puts an individual through?

2:286 and 33:62
1. Is the statement. “Allah doesn’t burden a person beyond his endurance” related to the test Allah puts a person through in this life?
2. If so, what is the definition of endurance limit? For example, if that limit is crossed, the person might commit suicide or stop believing in Allah?

Quran 33:62 is in the context of Itmam-e-Hujjah as it’s evident by reading the few preceding verses, and it’s not related to 2:286.
Quran 2:286 is about the laws of God. The following note of Al-Bayan might be helpful:
“…the new responsibility which is being imposed on the ummah is not beyond its capacity and every person will be held accountable for it as regards the extent of his faith and deeds. Neither will a person be held accountable for something which was beyond his control nor will the faith and deeds of a person be of any benefit or harm for others. Whatever a person will sow, it will reap. Whatever bad deed he does, he alone will pay for it.”
