    Is it permissible to buy patch Phones?

    Patch phones means these phones have IMEI number of a phone that has negligible tax on it. These phones generally are cheaper than the actual PTA approved phones. ( PTA is regulatory authority of phones in Pakistan).

    This come under fraud. So it will not be permissble.

    But fraud would be applied on the seller only or the buyers should not buy it?

    I don’t know how this scheme works, but as a principle I can tell you that a God fearing buyer should refrain from being a part of any immoral transactions to the best of his capability.
