Forgive me for the crude nature of my wording and question. When cleaning after defecation is there accountability for cleaning inside the passageway?

I haven’t heard or read anything about this.

It could be a personal preference, and religiously speaking I don’t see anything right or wrong about it. If someone insists that it’s a religious obligation then they should bring an evidence from Quran or sunnah.
