This is a video of Allama Tariq sahab. He’s giving some Quranic definitions of Zaalim and Zulm. Though these definations used to make sense to me, I am here to confirm if these derivations are right or not.

I haven’t watched the whole video but from what I’ve watched, the verses mostly used are in the context of Itmam-e-Hujjat where ‘Zalim‘ refers to the ones who do ‘zulm‘ on their own souls first by rejecting message of the messenger of Allah and secondly by persecuting the messenger and his followers in additon to rejecting his message. One of such verses is 6:47 which has been discussed discussed in one of your earlier queries (Discussion 64464 • Reply 64471).
