Is it permissible to use a pseudo name for job. When you have to call foreign people.
Just like writers use a pen name and artists also use a pseudo name. Please guide about that

Writers and artists mostly use a pen name and this fact is known to the readers, unless in rare cases someone hide their real name because of some genuine reason behind it.
Being an employee, the other party needs to have some identifiable characteristics of the employee (whether it be name or an employee id of any kind), in case of any future discrepancy or disagreement. Therefore, using a pseudo name deprives the other party of their right to specifically identify the company’s representative in case a need arises and it is a form of deception too.

I am asking about using it for customers not for the employer. For example when calling foreign people for sales using a foreigner name.
