Quran says, that intellect could never satisfies until it accepts the reasonable answer that it is a living God who made this universe and life and the hereafter which solve the riddle of life and make it meaningful. otherwise it is a meaning less and hopeless phenomena.
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
Those who believe, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (13:28)
