Evolution In Quran And Variant Readings
Assalamualaikum
The whole discussion Ghamidi sahab did in this video, and like Ka’b RA said that i have heard this from Prophet SAW and i will tell it. So question arises like first we believe that Quran has not gone through some evolution like commonly people have in their lives like at the start something and then later in life may go against what he has said. So when these things are said that some Sahaba RA said that i have heard from Prophet SAW “maliki” and now at last Quran is saying that “maaliki”, so how would you reconcile that no evolution in the Quranic thought and variations of readings?

The claim regarding no traces of evolution is about the author of the Quran – God. Evolution of thought can be easily spotted in any literary works of human beings that span several years, however, no such evolution can be spotted in the Quran despite it being revealed over a period of 23 years. This has nothing to do with variant readings.
