Using Unethical Practices To Achieve A Benefit
Assalam o Allaikum,
It is about my MS degree completed on my own except its Thesis. I put all my efforts from literature review to data analysis to complete the Thesis. But I could not reduce the Similarity Index of the Thesis. So I did some unethical practices or wrong ways to reduce Similarity Index. Ultimately my thesis was accepted and I received the MS degree.
I submitted it to my current employer and got increment on my salary. What do you say about this increment as per islamic sharia?

Since your work is genuine and You escaped the flawed technicality of the system, so you are not blameworthy. It is not unethical. However it would be unethical if the work was plagiarised and then made an escape.
