Nisab Of Zakat On Agricultural Production Fixed By Prophet Muhammad (sws)
Dear Friends,
Could you please explain if there is quorum set (نصاب) for agriculture, since there is a متفق علیه حدیث that says لیس فیما دون خمسه اوسق من التمر صدقه that means there is no Zakat on less than 5 Awsaq of Dates.
however Imam abu Hanifa says believed that there is no Nisab on agriculture and we have to pay Zakat based on the following Quranic verse and Hadith:
Verse “مما اخرجنا لکم من الارض” Hadith “فیما سقت السماء العشر”
Could you please elaborate can we understand it. and what is Sir Gahmidi’s View…
