Quran 2:33 – Angels Managing Affairs Of Earth Even Before Humans?
Assalamualaikum
Surah Baqara 33 (but referred to footnote 73), Ghamidi sahab wrote that:
These words show that the angels had requested the Almighty to leave the management and administration of the earth to them and not to entrust it to someone whose authority might create disorder and anarchy. Although this implication of the words quoted of the angels is quite evident, they did not mention it in explicit words out of respect for the Almighty.
How do we know that the angels had the management of earth?

They sill have it. Angels are appointed to carry out rain, death, record our deeds, guard us, and other tasks given to them.
