  • Was The Prophet (peace Be Upon Him) Made The Master Of Both Worlds?

    Salam,

There’s a famous naat read across the world, known as Qaseeda Burda Shareef.

    Two verses translate to,

“And how can the need incline such a noble personality towards this world; for if he (A) had not been (created), the world would have not come into existence.”

“(The beloved Prophet) Muhammad (A) is the Leader of both worlds and both creations (man and jinn) and of both groups, Arabs and non Arabs.”

Is what is said in these verses authentic?

People said all sorts of things regarding Rasoolullah (Salam), in the past and in this age. The most authentic information about Rasoolullah comes from the Quran (whether someone believes Quran to be divine or not)

The picture that emerges from the Quran is that Rasoolullah was a “Basheer and Nadheer” Look up its meaning on google or any dictionary. The Quran in many places says that the Rasool and Nabi of Allah can’t do as he pleases in this world. They are much more under Allah’s supervision, compared to common people.

The claims that muslims make regarding Rasoolullah, him being master of this and that and the other, and him being superior to other messengers of Allah, are purely out of a misguided religious zeal and emotions. It has nothing to do with Allah and His messengers or reality.

Abu Sa’id reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I am the master of the children of Adam, and it is no boast. I will be the first for whom the earth is split on the Day of Resurrection, and it is no boast. I will be the first to intercede and whose intercession will be accepted, and it is no boast. The banner of praise will be placed in my hand, and it is no boast.”

This was the most I could find.
