    a) Should we be preparing for Ghazwa-e-Hind, now that Imam Mahdi has been identified in Lahore?

    b) How do we know if dreams are from God and not from Satan? If someone “thinks” God’s been communicating with him in dreams for 10+ years and he genuinely believes that Prophet (AS) through dreams has suggested to him and asked him to spread his dreams of him being Mahdi, what is expected of that person?

The traditions about Imam Mehdi are not authentic. So there is no need to pay heed to any such things.

True dreams have been a human experience. One can only believe a dream from God, if it comes true. Direct communication of God in which the person realises that he really communicated with God is done only in prophethood. After the end of prophethood, no one can claim that God talks to him. It is hallucination if not fake.

Honestly this whole thing gives vibes similar to that of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani (though the claim of these 2 individuals may be vastly different).

firstly, no way to genuinely tell if he is truthful.

Secondly even if he is being honest, could just be a case of mental health issues (messiah complex or Jerusalem syndrome, which I personally believe Mirza Ghulam had).
