Inhalation Of Alcohol In Perfumes
Assalamualaikum,
Hello there, my question is that as we know as a rule that whatever intoxicates in large quantities is prohibited even in small quantity.
So i got to know in online articles that inhalation of Alcohol vapors can also cause effects of intoxication like. İ guess when vapors are directly inhaled by either heating it up or placing it over dry ice.
So wouldn’t it make Alcohol based Perfumes like those with high alcohol content, Haram? Because intoxication can also be done through inhalation. Same as like even a puff of weed would be Haram because more puffs of it would get us intoxicated and wasted.

Alcohol in perfume is never reported to cause intoxication. So there is no need to avoid it. Moreover, the alcohol used in perfume or other drugs is the essence of alcohol, not wine or other drinks which cause intoxication. If some kind of intoxication is used through sniffing, only that would be haram.
