Is Reading Quran Translation Enough To Build A Connection?
Is reading simple translation regularly enough to build a living relation with Qur’an or should I move on to Al-Bayan or some Tafseer due to extra understanding? I know better understanding is better but what is the minimum requirement if you wish to build a living connection?

Yes, reading a good translation of the Quran is sufficient for a common person. Exegesis and other material can be read if needed but it is not required to understand the message of the Quran and gain an appreciation for its message at the level of a common person.
