Salam, please help me understand and internalise this ayat deeply.
“Jo Allah py bharosa karay ga, Allah us k liay kafi ho ga” – Surah Talaq: 03

References of any practical examples of present or past would help a lot. I mean how someone held on to these words through all his struggles or whatever he went through. How only relying on Allah alone without any means helped someone.

Yes, one way of looking at this is that in this world we are supposed to have faith in Allah without even seeing him physically. And we will be rewarded for having faith like that. But i feel like, not just in afterlife, in this life too one can achieve a lot just by holding on to these words. Practical examples of others can help internalise this deep wisdom i believe.

Any verse is supposed to be understood in the general frame of the religion. To have trust in God does not mean, not to use means, rather it means to have trust in His judgment after we use our means. To believe in God is a matter of the intellect, not of seeing and observation. The verse does not mean to have trust and that there is God. It means nothing. We can believe in Him for His being only when we are convinced and we can be convinced on the basis of our intellect. That is why God invites our intellect and logic, again and again, to make us believe in His being. Then comes trust.

The story of Moses and the man of God in the chapter, al-Kahaf, tells that God intends to have good for us, whether that comes in the state of misfortune or fortune. We need to trust in His judgment.

I have been reading Surah Al Kahf with translation for many years on every Friday, but your reference of Prophet Musa AS story in my question’s context has given me new way of looking at that story. Jazaka Allah for this.
