    Hello there, Assalaam u alaykum.

As it is said that it’s mustahab or more rewarding to pray in early timing for the start of a fixed time for prayer. So does this concept comes to us through Hadith or Ijma and tawattur (like Sunnah)?

This practice is uswa-e-hassana and has been transmitted through Hadith narrations because such practices do not require the rigor of ijma and tawatur.

It must be kept in mind that it is not uswa of the Prophet (sws) to offer all Prayers at their earliest time. Prophet (sws) preferred to offer Isha Salah with delay.
