Is Piracy Of Books Haram?
Asalamualaikum Ghamidi sahab, I have been watching your videos lately and found you the most factually correct and well read person. Since I read a lot of books I found the original copies a lot more expensive than the pirated one’s so I wanted to ask a question regarding that only . As you mentioned earlier in you videos that ‘haq talfi’ is haram ,is piracy of books and buying pirated books also haram since it’s also a kind ‘haq talfi’ where we are reading the book of a specific author without his/her permission and apparently they are not gaining anything from what they created after years of research and hardwork.
