Is video mein Ghamidi Sahab ne kaha ke “apni gadi ke diwar ke upar ishara kar lijiye” tayammum karne ke liye.
Yahan ishara karne se muraad “apne zehen se ishara karna hai” ya “physically gadi ke diwar ko touch karke tayammum karna hai.”

You need to physically touch any surface (tap it a few times with both hands) where you think dust can be found. Because the requirement of Tayammum is to touch any soil including dust and wipe your face and hands with it (Qur’an 4:43). If that is not possible then I guess ishara is enough.

In all ibada rituals, the principle is to move down to the closest secondary form (e.g. combining prayers or Tayammum) when there’s usr (unusual hardship). In case of such unusual hardship, the same wuzu can be performed through tayammum. It is not necessary to use rock or dust at all costs if they are not available, anything pure can serve the purpose. It is just a symbolic action and can be done on any clean surface. Similarly, even if it is not possible to touch any surface then merely pointing to any such surface will also suffice under the same principle (e.g. when one is driving).
