There should be a positive or affirmative injunction to establish what is farz in Deen. There is no separate injunction for women to cover themselves during prayer in addition to what is ordinarily covered.

Men and women are the same with regard to covering their Forooj. Since the bosom of women is farj too, so it has to be covered too. The head is not included in farj. It is rather a good cultural practice, and that is it.

Head covering for women in salah is categorized as etiquettes of Salah (‘namaz kai adab’), which means that if due to any reason, head is not covered then salah remains valid. But matters of etiquettes should not be taken lightly in expression of our relationship with the Almighty.
