  • What Were The Miracles Seen By Hazrat Hagar(a.s) Father ?

    1. In the book (https://ghamidi.tv/media/books/96/48/), footnote 19, It is mentioned that Hazrat Hagar was not a maid but a princess and her father gave her daughter as gift seeing the miracles done by her.

    2. (https://ghamidi.tv/media/books/96/178/) , footnote 302, It is mentioned that she was sent along with Hazrat Ibrahim(a.s) for pious company.

    3. https://sunnah.com/bukhari:3358 – ….He (Tyrant king) then called one of his guards (who had brought her) and said, “You have not brought me a human being but have brought me a devil.

    My question is –

    a. What were the miracles did the king saw about Hazrat Sarah (a.s) ? What is the background of these miracles.

    b. Why would a king give his daughter as gift to someone who he thinks is a devil (naql e kufr, kufr na bashad)

    Jazakallahu Khairaa.

Correction : 1. In the book (https://ghamidi.tv/media/books/96/48/), footnote 19, It is mentioned that Hazrat Hagar(a.s) was not a maid but a princess and her father gave his daughter as gift seeing the miracles done by Hazrat Sarah (a.s).

    a. It seems like the reference is to the fact how Sarah (as) was protected by Allah from evil intentions of the king and that they all (King and his staff) became very sick when the King showed his evil intentions See: Genesis 12:17

    b. The hadith narration mentions the word “Devil“, but the Bible uses different wordings. It appears that the King was overwhelmed and he must have used some words of surprise, but the way he let them go with honour, the use of word “Devil” seems far-fetched. The verbatim account of the event cannot be known with certainty, since there is objection on both the content of the Hadith and depiction of Bible as far as this incdent is concerned.
